Deana Grenier: Publisher, Pioneer, and Restorational Speaker.

Deana Grenier is a publisher, activist, trauma survivor, and proud citizen of Rhode Island. For over forty years, she has walked the grueling, sacred path of long-term recovery, transforming her oldest childhood wounds into a life-saving methodology of spiritual integration and absolute freedom.

In the early 1990s, Deana stood on the front lines of the New England LGBTQ+ movement as a radical pioneer, founding the historic Open Doors social network and penning a major op-ed for The Providence Journal. After decades of high-functioning corporate accounting and deep immersion into the ancient technologies of Twelve-Step recovery, ACA, and the study of Hermetic principles, she finally stepped entirely into her own skin.

Today, Deana is the Owner, Publisher, and Editor of The Rhode Island Wave (therhodeislandwave.com), a prominent community-based newspaper. She frequently jokes that while it required forty years of lived survival to write her first book, she now proudly writes a brand-new one every single month from her home office.

A testament to the absolute power of the human spirit over physical limitation, Deana has successfully navigated immense physical adversity, including two knee replacements, thumb joint reconstructions, and six intensive spinal surgeries that left her with titanium rods in both her neck and lower back. Stone-cold sober and profoundly awake, she lives her life with the unshakeable conviction that the physical body is merely the machine, but the eternal soul is the driver.

Deana resides in Rhode Island, where she continues to absorb the divine totality of her Higher Power, editing the monthly news, tending to her sanctuary, and helping outcasts around the world untwist the twisted.
